Order status - 1-800-433-9014 This status is more current that that provided online. Very useful,

especially when the moderators aren't working (weekends and after hours). You can also use the

online Order Status (sometimes not as current) Dell's Online Order Status

In Transit means that your machine has left Dell and is on its way to a consolidation point. There is

NO tracking available during this period, which could take as long as 3 days or more.

UPS Packages are shipped via UPSLG, a subsidiary of UPS. They don't scan the packages, just ship

the load to a UPS regional hub near you. Until they reach the hub and are unloaded, they will not be scanned.

APX Packages are shipped via APX, a freight consolidator, then given to the USPS and delivered by your

postal carrier just like any other package. For APX tracking, Click here ,then click on USPS tracking code at the top.

In Production means that Dell expects to the parts in house in time to make the ship date that they

have given you. It does NOT mean that all the parts are in the factory and that your machine is almost ready.

Testing on a laptop means that your machine is enjoying cocktails on the airplane coming over from Malaysia...
